If you are perplexed by the array of conflicting information surrounding the dietary needs of your dog or cat, then this course will help to answer your questions. The course consists of 4 extensive modules which will teach you everything you need to know about dog and cat nutrition. From basic dietary requirements to pet-specific regimes, each module has been thoroughly researched to give you a detailed understanding of how to balance the vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats and enzymes which are vital for your dog or cat's health. Valuable information about the pet food industry, such as how to read labels properly, which foods to avoid, and why wholefoods are the better option are included. There are two sections dedicated to individual homemade recipes for your dog and cat; including complete balanced meals, and savoury and sweet snacks and treats for you to make, as well as a section on medicinal recipes for minor illnesses.
